Mission générale

  • The Store Manager is in charge of all the aspects of the boutique includingManaging the store the Hermès way and being the Ambassador of Hermès towards the clientsEnsuring the best possible working atmosphere to procure a motivating work environment and develop peopleBeing on the floor to coach teams and participate to the selling processBeing responsible for reaching store objectives in terms of budget (turnover, sales mix etc.) and service

Principales activités

Performance & operations managementManage P&LFollow-up store performance (sales, stock level, shrink rate)Manage store buyingsMonitor stock on a regular basis (reorders and transfers) in cooperation with the Retail and Merchandising Management of the Hermès GmbHEnsure that back office is efficiently operatedEnsure that all company’s procedures and systems are clearly understood and followedEnsure proper maintenance and renovation works, in line with the agreed budgetFollow up administrative process (e.g. till checks, orders)Coordinate the roll-out of central projects / tools in the store
Team managementManage the team: set objectives and assess performance, observe teams on the floor and provide ongoing feedback, organize work within the team and delegate tasks as neededCreate a sense of team spirit, discipline and mutual respect as well as dedication and loyalty Ensure team self-developmentCoordinate Assistant Store Manager / Admin for rotas and vacationsConduct recruitments in cooperation with Head OfficeEnsure the consistency of the store organization 
Front office managementManage and monitor floor operationsDrive sales performanceEnsure a high standard of customer service within the storeMaintain its client portfolio and identify client development opportunitiesOversee CRM activities (incl. ensuring database accuracy) and clientelling actions Ensure the excellence of aftersales serviceEnsure the excellence of Visual Merchandising 
Communication and public relationsRepresent Hermès to existing and potential customersBe fully aware of the communication plan and to ensure sales team is properly informed of all relevant activitiesNetwork with local authorities, business associations, foundationsParticipate to local events within and outside the storeFully assist the Communication teams to implement any activity in relations with your store

  • An extensive experience with a high-value management position in international retail university degreeExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsInitiative and orientation to achieve the objectivesAbility to delegate and evaluate performanceA strong service orientation to the care of client relationsFluency in English and German
