Reports directly to the Director of Product Development.

Principales activités

Define the stages of construction of the collections, including commercial and production data, and set up a retro schedule to follow the progress - Harmonize the processes and tools between Welted & Non-Welted + Accessories

Ensure the presence of a brief collection (taking into account sales analysis and strategic objectives) and a target collection plan (model, references, colors, prices)

Define and communicate development price objectives

Ensure the pace and priorities of collection development in collaboration with development managers

Participate in the sales forecasting process pre & post showroom

Sales Analysis / Discontinuations
Every month run Cognos reports to analyse the performance of Collections / Styles across all markets: Make suggestions as to what are the KPI’s
Help to build B + 2 & Budget with Director of Product Development
Twice a year run report on all products to make recommendations for discontinuations
Share discontinued recommendations with Director of Product Development
Update all documents (Order forms, price lists)
Leather discontinuations are informed by the purchasing team. Share this with all stores and the commercial team so no more orders are taken on these leathers.
Update all documents (Order form, price lists, leather swatch list, M3)
Involvement in the product development meetings
Typing up the minutes from the meetings
Helping to ensure the retro plan / critical path dates are adhered to
Getting names and leather/colour decisions for each product from the Artistic Director

Product set up
Creating all new styles on M3
Ensuring all style information is given to the Technical Development Manager to create the work ticket matrix
Making sure the Sourcing & Purchasing Manager has all information on any new components and creates them on M3
Giving all style information to the Footwear Engineering Manager to create the BOMS and work tickets
Give all information to the Technical Product Development Assistant for creating the spec sheets for all non-welted products
Run a monthly report extracting all data from M3, ensure the data is accurate, if not, make any changes by mass upload
Involvement in data quality meetings

Costings and Price lists
Giving all style information to the Management Controller to run the costings from M3
Working with the Director of Product Development to decide on the GBP pricing, which gets submitted to the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Executive Officer for approval
Once GBP prices are approved, working on the pricing for all currencies, based on comparable prices. Firstly, submitted to Director of Product Development before
After all currencies are agreed input the prices on M3 using mass update (manual for Japan)
Update all price lists
Distribute price lists to directors and the marketing team
Ensure the price list (and M3) is up to date
Produce new annual price lists for wholesalers and retail (with help from the Management Controller)
Create new price lists on M3 annually and ensure all new prices are added to M3 (request help from IT Manager to "remove decimals" for mass uploading Japan prices)

Product information
Create product information for the markets, and for the marketing team to use for the line sheets (once approved by artistic direction)
Order forms
Update the order form with all new products
Create the product descriptions for the website and send to marketing (from approval and translation into French and Japanese)
Create the website upload files
Upload the products, including prices and images, on the pre-production and ask for feedback before adding to live
Upload the products online, including prices and images to the live site

By request
Ensure the Order form (grid), and price list is up to date
Answer any market requests on what is possible/not possible
Create any new samples and distribute

Profil du candidat

  • Previous experience in a retail background, at an experienced level is mandatory (5 years)
  • Excellent spoken communication and organization skills a top priority
  • Spirit of co-operation within and between departments; ability to create a friendly environment
  • Responsible and conscientious attitude; organized, rigorous and ability to work with autonomy
  • Not afraid of physical work
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Cegid, Cognos & M3 would be a plus
  • Experience of retail administration and an understanding of CRM, databases and e-commerce would be a benefit
  • Italian language would be a benefit
