3 concessions : Luxembourg, Stockholm, Oslo

AS OUR RETAIL DIRECTOR YOUR MISSION WILL BE:
To build and put in place the Retail strategy of the Benelux & Nordics region in terms of sales as well as Customer service by:

ensuring a network of stores of outstanding quality, known for its excellent client service, flow of operations and people 
driving the stores and their teams in a dynamic way to develop and maintain a loyal Hermès client base
supporting Hermès concessions to adhere to contractual obligations in terms of Hermès expectations

As Retail Director you will work closely with the region's senior management team in order to create and transmit an ambitious and coherent vision based on sustainability across all business areas of the region. You are very close to the network of stores and respect our people, rules and values.

Principales activités

DRIVE THE STORE NETWORK TO OUTSTANDING CLIENT SERVICE

You challenge and support the sales teams to deliver best service in terms of welcome, listening and solutions offered.
You put a focus on a strong clienteling spirit in order to develop and reinforce relations with our local clients.
In the search of excellent client service, you orient the actions of the Retail Operations Manager towards a continuous optimisation of flow between front & back-of-house fonctions.
With a creative and open mindset and together with the Communications Director, you sponsor in-store animations that attract new and surprise existing clients.
 You follow commercial activities of our concessions and support where necessary.

 
DRIVE & SUPPORT THE COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY

You actively participate in building the yearly budget and longer term strategy of the region, in particular through the definition of sales and cost targets together with the Product Offer Manager and the Financial Director.
You propose and put in place solutions in line with the strategic goals of the region.
Together with the VM and in collaboration with the Product Offer Manager, you support the sales results and sell-through in each universe 
You ensure the respect of business procédures in line with internal control

 
ANIMATE TEAMS

You make sure your team of Store Managers is competent and proactive and drive them through challenging objectives, which you regularly follow up on and support.
In close copperation with the HR Director, you determine and answer to the needs of the teams in terms of recruitment, training, talent management and remuneration.
You visit all stores on a regular basis to ensure a good functioning, conduct business reviews, deal with operational and managerial issues, share best practices and motivate the teams.
You develop the competencies and cohesion in each store team through: information, communication, sharing of objectives and best practices as well as dealing with difficult issues at the source
As a member of the senior management team, you encourage a positive, open and transversal way of working.

 
BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN RETAIL COMMUNITY

You work in collaboration with the Retail Directorate Europe and that of the other countries in order to create a "European" spirit
You participate in the European Retail Comities, bringing all relevant issues from the store reality to the table

  • Very solid managerial experience

  • Structure, precision and creativity
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to listen and create strong links
  • Sense of Humour !
  • Excellent level of English and French, Dutch or a Scandinavian language is a plus
