E-MESA is a newly created structure operating under Hermes Middle East and South Asia Region. This entity holds Hermes.com website and operates ecommerce for Singapore and Malaysian markets. The website will open in October 2019 and will later cover more countries in the region.

Mission générale

  • The e-merchandiser oversees the website merchandising and ensures the digital customer journey. He is responsible for converting traffic into sales by selecting, displaying and animating the product offer online. By his action, he monitors the digital window of the brand in the region and is also accountable for driving e-visitors to our retail stores. He qualitatively merchandises the products in an omnichannel mindset.

Principales activités

Product display and website navigation
• Publish the products and their content in Fredhopper tool, following the commercial and communication priorities
• Ensure consistency between editorial content and product offer
• Merchandise products on the Homepage linked to editorial priorities
• Define the best product grid allowing an easy and fluid navigation for the visitor
• Optimize the e-search results
• Define perfect partner proposition
• Propose and challenge product content to Group digital and metiers teams
• Create editorial content pages in collaboration with communication team

E-merch performance
• Analyze website pages performance and navigation path (Google analytics)
• Follow up the traffic and the sales; adapt the E-merch to optimize conversion rate, and maximize average basket
• Propose improvements for customer experience
Retail Merchandising
• Sales analysis
• Inventory management
• Product offer

• Closely work with Group digital team and Metiers
• Meet on a regular basis with Regional Retail merchandising team, VM and Communication
• Build relationship and partnership spirit with local retail teams, to understand their need and their customer
• Follow competitors omnichannel actions and strategies
• Share best practices with E-Merchandisers community from other markets
