General mission

  • Part of Hermes Parfums UK team, reporting into Market Managing Director and in collaboration with the European marketing operational team, the UK & Ireland Trade Marketing Manager will drive the development of brand image, awareness & loyalty of Hermes Parfum through the Hermes stores & external distribution in the UK & Ireland.

Main activities

1) Operational marketing
- Drive brand local market awareness while aligning around the brand direction choices and tactics
- Create and drive the in-store & online marketing plan across Hermes stores and retail partners in order to gain market share and meet Hermes pillars ranking targets with UK NPD
- Build customer loyalty nationally and grow clientele data base for Image and A door
- Manage retailer POSM allocation calendar
- Be the key contact and liaison for marketing and PR development with all wholesale accounts
- Prepare retailer strategy meeting presentation

2) In- store & Online animations
- Develop and prepare in- store activities with central marketing team and manage local production Agency
- Responsible for the best –in-class execution of all in-store and online events in collaboration with UK retail Manager and e-commerce European Manager

3) Merchandising
- Manage and optimize each retailer assortment & offer
- Responsible for elevating brand experience in stores by creating planogram, visuals and leading in-store personalization projects
- Ensure online visibility is optimized and respect brand guidelines at all time
- Control in-store merchandising to be up to standard and update quarterly
- Visit store regularly to assist in permanent merchandising and manage VM agency when required
- Media
- Manage media investment and coordinate media plan

4) Budget management
- Issue new product launches and POSM forecast, track allocations monthly
- Manage marketing & POSM budgets
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets competitor’s activities to identify opportunities and key issues
- Run annual pricing analysis

Applicant profile

  • - Graduated with a Master degree in International Marketing
  • - Proven 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar role with premium beauty brand in the UK & Ireland market
  • - Comfortable to work with numbers, metrics and spreadsheet
  • - English fluent / French speaking is a plus
  • - Tools: word, excel, PowerPoint + planogram software is plus
  • - Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • - Up to date with latest trend and marketing best practices
  • - Highly creative to think out of the box
  • - Strong ability to understand and represent the brand
  • - Drive for results and leadership skills, proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communication to management
  • - Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • - Enjoy working in fast paced and multi-tasking environment
